“mike likes things that make you wonder and he spoke a lot about laboratory experiments —- his images are so great i just wanted to make his idea intriguing but also like a clean slate, a polaroid just about to develop —- i like that on the cusp feeling to it and the void in the text where it looks like something is missing —- that’s what mike is all about —- he just sees stuff everywhere at any moment and point click and after a few seconds developing there is a little artwork —- i wanted the card to express what is about to happen but hasn’t yet —-” Eric Kass (via Art of the Business Card: Mike Slack)
